We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Holistic Therapist to join the ACCG, a registered charity providing health and social care services in Manchester.
- We are looking for an exceptional individual who is enthusiastic, motivated and highly professional who would like to be part our team as a Holistic Therapist.
- The Holistic Therapist will provide a range of therapies to individuals to aid in improving their health and well-being.
About the Role
- To provide a warm and inviting environment for individuals accessing the service.
- Through consultation, gather information from individuals pertaining to health, allergies, medical conditions and lifestyle prior to treatments.
- To perform a range of treatments, to include Full Body Massage, Indian Head Massage and Reflexology.
- To provide beauty treatments including Manicures and Pedicures.
- To carry out any other treatments that enhance the health and well-being of an individual.
- To discuss medical problems and medical histories with clients to determine how the treatment will be most helpful and where to use caution.
- To customise treatments to meet the needs of the client holistically, and provide a personalised service.
- To stick to timescales when performing treatments.
- To keep workspace tidy and perform housekeeping duties as necessary.
- To ensure stock levels of supplies are maintained and provide inventory information for supplies to be restocked.
- To create excellent experiences for clients through a friendly and helpful attitude.
About you
- The successful candidate will possess NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) with experience of working with older people and people from the BAME community.
- 3 years proven experience in working in a similar setting.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Good verbal communication and language skills.
- Pleasant and social manner with a positive and caring attitude.

We are looking for an exceptional individual who is enthusiastic, motivated and experienced to be part our team and:
Create a varied and stimulating programme of activities that will enhance service users mental and physical wellbeing.
Work with individual service users in order to understand their likes, dislikes, abilities and disabilities.
Understand the need of promoting the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment for all Service Users.
Evaluate and report the outcomes activities and events.
About the Role
You will develop, plan and implement meaning full activities while taking into consideration the needs and wishes of individuals.
You will encourage participation of service users, staff members and volunteers
You will ensure that the service delivered promotes the independence, dignity, rights and choices of the people with whom we work.
You will supervise and participate in group activities.
You will organise and promote themed events based on special days, dates and traditions.

Background
ACCG are working in partnership with LMCP and ACMHS plus other associates to
deliver carers services in the Central Manchester Locality. Our aim as a partnership
is to promote the Carers Pathway within our local communities and to identify unpaid
carer’s from BAME backgrounds early on in their caring role and support them to
access carer’s services.
About the Role
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join the ACCG and partner
organisations in the role of Carer’s Service Link Worker. You will be required to work
in a team to identify unpaid carers in Central Manchester and support them to
access available Carer’s services. You will develop and maintain relationships with
other VCS organisations within Central Manchester, as well as individuals and
statutory services that support Carer’s. You will have experience in supporting those
from underrepresented groups, in particularly those from an African Caribbean or
South Asian background.
